Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapists provide specialized, individualized treatment in the areas of sensory processing, fine motor skills, and attention. Our occupational therapists can also address delays in feeding skills, oral sensitivities, or helping picky eaters expand their food choices. At KTQS, we believe that no matter how complex a child’s needs may be, we are here to help individuals and families live productive, satisfying, and fulfilling lives by helping them overcome obstacles and develop or recover skills needed for daily living, playing, and working.

Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is an important part of preventive care, rehabilitation, and treatment for patients with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries. Our physical therapists also provide specialized knowledge in pediatric orthotics and durable medical equipment that may facilitate improved quality of movements, improved musculoskeletal alignment, and optimal muscle recruitment.

Parent/ Caregiver Education
Every parent benefits from additional support and guidance when it comes to coping with the unique challenges of parenting, even more so when your child is experiencing challenges themselves. Parent education helps parents and caregivers learn the strategies to support their child’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development by taking the skills learned in therapy and applying them at home and in the child’s environment. Parent education is where teamwork thrives.

Speech therapy
Speech therapy is the assessment and treatment of communication problems and speech disorders. SLPs assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/feeding/swallowing skills. This lets them identify a problem and the best way to treat it. SLPs can also provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder or progressive neurological disorders.
